Brian Emerson & Marc Brownlow
Collaborative Team - Animation / Game Design

Brian Emerson
I'm a Maya generalist/TD specialized in modeling, rigging and lighting but with experience in just about every aspect of 3d production including animation, scripting, and compositing.

Most recently I was the CG Supervisor at Synthespian Studios on Touchstone Pictures Surrogates. My favorite task was figuring out a solution and pipeline to solve an interesting problem, especially one that requires my knowledge of different disciplines.

Nine years ago I started working at the ICT Graphics Lab under Dr. Paul Debevec testing and utilizing current research within a production setting. As the lead artist on the Parthenon film I gained a strong understanding of image based lighting, HRDI, and global illumination, a skill set that informs every decision I make.

After four years I moved to Sprite Animation to work as a Character Artist where I did modeling, rigging, and a bunch of other stuff including lighting, scripting and animation for Anime inspired CG projects.

Marc Brownlow
Marc showed an aptitude for drawing by the age of three. His interests grew through the years to include sculpture, pottery, painting and figure drawing. In high school art class he discovered an Art Center College of Design catalog hidden on a shelf and realized that his passion for art could become a career.
Through focused attention and practice, he gradually improved his drawing skills until he was accepted into Art Center College of Design’s Transportation program. Later he received the Porsche scholarship and completed an internship at Porsche’s Huntington Beach studios, where he had the dream opportunity to contribute to the design and successful presentation of a proposed Porsche supercar.
After graduating with honors, earning a B.S. in Transportation design, he worked as a freelance designer for Porsche and a storyboard artist for Imaginary Forces. Marc also worked for various local and international clients in graphic design, packaging, product design, and illustration.
Marc's work has been featured in Automotive News, the L.A. international auto show, SIGGRAPH and the Art Center College of Design Catalog. He is continually searching for new outlets to further express his continued passion for design and joy for creativity.
